Room Representatives
PTA Room Reps work with the school to create special events and celebrations for the kids. Moreover, Room Reps are PTA liaisons between the families of the class and the PTA. Room Reps are also responsible for coordinating party volunteers, field day, helping with fundraisers, communicating classroom needs to their class families and communicating the teacher's needs to the PTA. Room Reps must be aware of the allergies in the classroom and the children's photo consent. Room Reps must be paid members of the PTA. We strongly recommend attending the PTA meeting when your grade's teachers will be present (1Xyear). Please click the pencil to sign up as a Room Representative.
Friendship List
Every year the PTA facilitates the compilation of a friendship list. Participation is voluntary. The list provides each participating student the contact information of other students within their grade. Friendship lists are great to have when planning birthday parties, sending holiday cards, making play dates and best of all helping with homework assignments.
The information shared, will be used exclusively to create this resource and shared only with other participating students within the same grade. These lists are only published once a year and are not updated when new students enter the school. PTA Committee Sign Up
The Langtree PTA is in need of volunteers to lead and assist various PTA committees. These committees are responsible for organizing PTA events throughout the year. Please review the information by clicking the pencil. If you interested in joining any of the committees listed, please fill out the form per level of interest. The committees listed with an '*' are committees that are in most need of leadership from this year going into the following year. You may select as many committees that interest you. You will be contacted by committee chairs and/or the Langtree PTA board in regards to committee selections.
